I am the Kindergarten Teacher at OLS. I grew up in Tinley Park, IL and I attended Helen Keller Elementary School. I went to college at Governors State University and Northeastern University.
My favorite Saint is St Maximilian Kolbe - for laying down your life for your fellow man is incredible. One thing I want OLS students and families to know about me is that I truly care about my students and the impact I have on their lives. I put my heart into what I do, and I want every child to feel loved, valued, and capable of succeeding. I believe that Catholic education is educating the whole child. It is about more than academics; it is about helping students grow into kind, compassionate, responsible and faith-filled individuals.
Why OLS? This is my home parish. I was married here and all my children were baptized and did their sacraments here too. My teaching style is... Nurturing, hands-on, and student-centered. I believe children learn best when they are actively involved, having fun, and able to connect learning with real-life experiences.
